Current deletion status
A person must verify the request before any deletion decision or data change.
The public form does not delete accounts, profiles, clips, billing records, or backups automatically.
Current beta deletion, retention, and youth-profile rules remain attorney-review pending before public launch.
Early access status
Clip2Commit account deletion workflows are being prepared for beta. This page provides the current request process and requires attorney review before app-store submission or public launch.
How to request deletion
Use this structured request form as the primary deletion path. Submitting it records a request for review and returns a review ID; it does not automatically delete data. If the form is unavailable, the fallback mailbox is support@clip2commit.com with the subject "Delete my Clip2Commit account."
Youth athlete profiles
Parent or guardian involvement is expected for youth athlete profiles. For a child or youth profile, the parent or guardian should make the request and avoid sending sensitive documents, full game film, passwords, payment information, or private school or medical records by email.
What happens next
After submission, Clip2Commit shows a review ID you can save for follow-up. A person still has to review and verify the request before any deletion decision. No deletion happens automatically from this public form.
What may be deleted
Deletion requests may cover profile information, uploaded media, draft packages, outreach notes, and beta contact records, subject to legal, security, billing, and backup-retention requirements.
As the recruiting toolkit expands, deletion review may also cover Player Card data, highlight playlists, readiness checklist records, manual export kit records, destination-library URLs, family-facing analytics, and related clips stored by Clip2Commit. Clip2Commit cannot delete videos, captions, messages, or files already downloaded, emailed, posted, or stored on third-party platforms by the user.
Temporary video copies
In the private beta portal, uploaded clips and rendered videos are temporary processing files, not long-term hosted videos. Clip2Commit schedules its online processing copies for removal after render and download windows. A deletion request can also ask Clip2Commit to review account, profile, coach follow-up, and related records, but it cannot remove files the user already downloaded or posted to third-party services.
