Public portal pages use sample data instead of exposing private athlete profiles.
Beta trust overview
Security and data handling
This page explains the current Clip2Commit beta posture in plain language. It is not a compliance certification, legal opinion, or substitute for attorney-reviewed privacy and terms.
Current trust status
Support, deletion, and refund forms record review requests and return review IDs.
Current beta privacy, terms, refund, deletion, and youth-safety language remains in attorney-review pending status.
Clip2Commit does not currently claim third-party security certification or legal clearance.
What is public
The public portal demo uses sample athlete data only. Public pages should not expose real athlete names, school names, team details, private video metadata, connector URLs, coach notes, emails, or audit records.
What stays private
Operational portal features, uploaded clips, real athlete profiles, coach follow-up notes, distribution queues, and account records stay behind the private portal gate during beta. Families decide when and where to share materials outside Clip2Commit.
Temporary video storage boundary
Clip2Commit uses temporary private processing storage for uploaded clips and rendered video files during beta. Finished video files are made available for download and then scheduled for removal from the online processing copy. Coach follow-up records, consent records, support records, audit logs, billing records, and legal-defense records are handled separately from temporary video files.
New recruiting-tool data boundary
Player Card fields, sport-specific stats, highlight playlist metadata, readiness checklist status, manual export kit text, destination-library URLs, and family-facing analytics are treated as private portal data. Public demo pages must use sample data only, and coaches do not receive analytics unless a future reviewed release explicitly asks the user for consent.
Youth safety boundary
Clip2Commit is not claiming COPPA compliance or third-party youth-safety certification in beta. Parent/guardian-managed youth workflows, parental consent records, under-13 restrictions, public profile visibility, retention rules, deletion handling, and takedown handling still require attorney review and product controls before launch.
Manual sharing boundary
Clip2Commit prepares video packages, captions, checklists, and draft email copy. It does not automatically post to social platforms, send coach emails, issue refunds, delete accounts, or publish recruiting content from public request forms.
Public request forms
Waitlist and support forms use HTTPS and collect only the information needed to review the request. Waitlist submissions store a hashed IP marker for basic rate limiting rather than storing raw IP addresses. Support, deletion, and refund forms record review requests only.
Before you share anything sensitive
Parents/guardians can inspect the sample portal, before/after athlete clip, privacy notice, delete-account request path, refund request path, and support request path before sharing private athlete details. The public waitlist starts with name and email, and optional role or sport details can be added later.
Trust roadmap
What is available now, and what is still gated?
Families can review the sample portal, before/after clip, FAQ, privacy notice, and structured request paths before joining.
Support, deletion, refund, privacy, and terms questions use structured forms as the primary path; email is fallback only.
Final privacy, terms, deletion, refund, and youth-safety policies require attorney review before public launch claims.
Compliance badges, certifications, and testimonials stay hidden until verifiable approval or recorded permission exists.
Evidence families can inspect
Current data-handling checkpoints
These checkpoints describe what exists in the current beta site. They are not a legal certification, security certification, or substitute for attorney review.
Public portal pages use sample athlete profiles and do not show real coach notes, email records, connector URLs, or private clips.
Support, deletion, and refund forms record review requests so families have a reference for follow-up.
Waitlist submissions use a hashed IP marker for basic spam control instead of storing the raw IP address.
Public forms do not post, send, delete, refund, or contact third parties automatically.
The privacy page lists current candidate partner evidence links for platform applications.
Privacy, terms, deletion, refund, and youth-safety language remains attorney-review pending before public launch.
What not to send
Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, full game film, private school records, medical details, or sensitive minor data through public forms or email. For questions, use the structured support form; support@clip2commit.com is a fallback if the form is unavailable.
Current limits
Current beta privacy, terms, deletion, refund, and youth-safety language remains in attorney-review pending status. Clip2Commit does not currently display third-party security certifications or compliance badges, and none should be inferred from this overview.
- Attorney-final privacy, terms, deletion, refund, and youth-safety policies are still required before public launch.
- Third-party compliance badges or security certifications will only appear after verifiable approval exists.
- Coach, athlete, or parent/guardian testimonials will only appear after permission is recorded and the quote is reviewed for accuracy.
